Android 9 Pieis getting an update in Nokia 2.1. Nokia brand licensed HMD Global has released an Android Pie update for its Android Go version phone Nokia 2.1, the company’s Chief Product Officer (CPO) told on Twitter.
Now Available Over-the-Air (OTA), software update appears to make Nokia2.1 the first Android Go smartphone to receive Android tie updates.
The details of the size and updating like official change log are unavailable at this point. Nokia 2.1 was originally introduced in May 2018 and reached Indiain August.
HMD Global CPO Juho Sarvicas tweeted that the pie update for Nokia 2.1 64 5,649 came earlier than today.
Although their tweets do not provide any details, including whether the updateactually brings Android pie (go edition) on the phone, it is very likely that the owner of Nokia 2.1 has the latest version of the go version on their smartphone Can hope.
