The seven farms chosen for the 2022-2024 cohort are all doing unimaginable work to develop their farm merchandise and companies, sustainably and organically. Every farm was chosen based mostly on their proposed utilization of this system, which incorporates figuring out three focus objectives and one in-hand useful resource that the farms work in the direction of reaching and finishing by the tip of this system.
The Farmer Companies crew is working carefully with every farm to develop their objectives and in-hand useful resource, and to assist them over the following two years as they execute their Accelerator plan. We’ve a strong listing of coaches that will probably be working hand-in-hand with the farmers to supply technical help, steering, and coaching on an unlimited array of subjects that assist them with long-term farm enterprise planning. In-hand assets can seem like a Soil Fertility plan, a Meals Security plan, a Labor plan, a Transition plan, and extra!
The coaches will even advise farmers on the way to maximize their Accelerator funding for his or her strategic capital investments. This funding may be utilized in the direction of farm bills — together with on-farm infrastructure, labor, healthcare, and advertising and marketing.
