HOBOKEN, N.J. (January 17, 2023) – Graduate scholar Jess Broad of No. 17 Stevens Institute of Know-how girls’s basketball was chosen to D3Hoops.com’s Nationwide Group of the Week, the publication introduced late Monday night.
The nationwide recognition is the primary for Broad and the primary for ladies’s basketball since 2017. It’s believed that Broad is the third participant in program historical past to obtain the accolade.
Broad averaged 25.5 factors and 7 rebounds throughout a pair of MAC Freedom victories for the Seventeenth-ranked Geese. Towards Arcadia, Broad had 23 factors with 11 boards for her third double-double of the season. She then topped that efficiency by pouring in 28 factors on 14 of 19 capturing within the Geese’ victory over Lycoming.
